Java.lang.math.max()är en inbyggd metod i Java som används för att returnera högsta eller största värde från de givna två argumenten. Argumenten tas i int, float, double och long.

Syntax:

 public static int max(int a, int b) public static double max(double a, double b) public static long max(long a, long b) public static float max(float a, float b) 

Parametrar:

 a: first value b: second value 

Lämna tillbaka:

 This method returns maximum of two numbers. 

• Om vi ​​tillhandahåller positivt och negativt värde som argument kommer denna metod att returnera positivt argument.
• Om vi ​​tillhandahåller båda negativa värden som argument, returneras nummer med den lägre storleken som resultat.
• Om argumenten inte är ett tal(NaN), kommer denna metod att returnera NaN.
